What is this????

I’m scared I might have a serious STI, and I got tested but unfortunately due to COVID, the labs aren’t running the swabs so I may never know for sure. I have a burning sensation within my vagina, redness, occassional itching and white, milky discharge that doesn’t smell but is yellow when I wipe? My doctor gave me antibiotics five days ago just in case it was chlamydia or gonorrhoea, but the symptoms haven’t eased up. I’m scared it may be herpes that is hidden inside my vagina, but when I got my test done, the doctor never mentioned seeing blisters. Please help! I don’t know what to do to make this go away.

are you in the usa? most labcore offices are open.. as well as local health clinics you just have to practice social distancing. what you are describing sounds more like a yeast or bacterial infection. did you finish the antibiotcs? i would try a round of monistat or vagisil from your local pharmacy to see if that helps as it is miconazole antifungal. if no relief i would suggest an urgent care to be sure its not a UTI. deep breaths even IF you do have something you will be ok. wear 100% cotton underwear and not too tight of clothes. please update the forum as it may help others in the same boat.

    Goodluck,

Unfortunately I'm from a small town in Canada who only has one lab that runs both the COVID and STI swabs. The covid swabs are taking priority to be tested now, and my doctor said I may never get the results back, but she also said she wasn't worried. However, I'm going into a clinic today just to get re-examined and ease my mind. I haven't been able to sleep or eat due to all my worry! I'll keep you guys updated with what this doctor says.
