i have a red shiny spot on my glans. having this problem for 7 months now, no symptoms no nothing. i went to a dermatologist she told me its an unknown inflammation and prescribed me advantan which did not help. i also used canesten no help.

to me it looks like something white and fungal under the glands possibly yeast...
the patch on the glands looks very similar to something i have had...i believe it to be lichen planus but it is very hard to get a clear diagnose by an average doctor, anyway if it is LP there is not much they can do as i understand it....just steriod creams, the effectiveness is debatable from my research.
do you have changes on the shaft?
