What is this on my penis?

Does this look like a pimple/cyst or herpes?

Doesn't hurt. It was once a white lump that was there for a while. I then squeezed and turned red and came to a pimple like head, it then popped and then kind of has stayed red since Sunday.

Here are some photos of the progression down below .imageimageimageimageimageimage

It burst twice because the first time you popped it which may satisfy you like popping a pimple on the face, but just like your face the pimple can form again because that is not proper treatment. I'm still convinced that this is a pimple. if you are worried about it or go another week without seeing progress. I would recommend that you go for a check up. They'll most likely give you a topical cream to treat it.

I treat everything that looks like this with Liquid Antiseptic that is used for treating cuts, grazes and insect bites of the skin. I use a tiny amount undiluted on a fingertip 3 or 4 times a day - use for 2 or 3 days and it should clear - if you are worried about using this read the instructions, if you get excessively dry skin using the liquid use the liquid one day and a cream version the next and so on

If you think you have been at risk of herpes go get checked at an STI / sexual health clinic

this looks a lot like molluscum on the penis. it's highly contagious but also completely harmless. did it bleed a lot when you popped it?
