What is this on my penis?

I had a small cut on my penis not sure how, maybe while an intercourse or through my nail while washing. When I tried to wash clean the wound, I pressed the surface to release all the blood. In a few days I noticed a mushroom like thing growing and its been a week now its there. Not itchy but slightly painful.

I've not had any intercourse with another partner other than my wife. image****

What does this look like?

    im no doctor but that to me looks like a genital wart. HPV can take a while to show up in some cases, does your wife have any bumps that are alarming to her? You should definitely get it checked out by a dermatologist

      Yes. Just did a round with the GP today and she claims to have never seen anything like it before. Will refer me to an urologist as a matter of urgency.

      Hopefully nothing serious.

      This is stressing me out.

      My wife doesn't have any symptoms. She's absolutely fine.

      But will get her tested too.
