What is wrong with my Back??

I am 18 and I have been suffering from chronic back pain for 2 years now. The problem is that the condition keeps on getting worse and my doctor has been able to convince my parents that it is nothing, although the pain is increasing Exponentially and my parents keep on saying 'change your lifestyle' etc.
About my condition:
1. Pain in 3 curves in spine, the lumbar curve, the thoracic curve and the cervical curve.
2. X-ray reports only say, "Loss of natural Lumbar Curve due to muscular spasms.
3. Strange, but not until I stretch, roll or twist my back and hear satisfying 'click, click, click' from my back and neck do I get momentary relief.
4. There is generally no pain until I stand or sit for more than 4-5 minutes. I spend most of my free time lying to avoid the pain but placing my neck in any position but straight triggers the pain.
5. I am completely healthy, with no previous disease or illness except this.
6. Taking a hot or cold bath is very relaxing and enables me to sleep.
About my lifestyle:
1. As a child I had been using computers for hours without proper back support
2. I do not have a healthy diet, it mostly consists of little calcium, more fats and I am just slightly over weight.
3. I rarely do sports, and spend most of my days sitting or lying.
4. Just in case, like every other teenager I masturbate every 2-3 days :P .
About the doctor:
We go in, he hands in a prescription of anti inflammatory NSAIDs and Calcium + Vitamin D tablets and X-ray report and kicks us out without saying a word. Less pain until I took the drugs but the problem returns after I stopped taking NSAIDs, We go in with X-rays and without even seeing he says everything's fine, My parents think I am acting or my lifestyle is to blame etc but it has been 10 months and it keeps on getting worse.
Please help me atleast identify what is wrong so that I can convince my parents that it is not something to be taken lightly.
Thanks in Advance

OK. I had a very small curvature of the spine since I can remember and my symptoms much like yours -- except I was/am pretty atheletic. Even got the same relief by twisting my back and hearing a satisfying crunch. You need another doctor and one that will order up an MRI. I'm now 69, and just had level 8 lumbar fusion. First time in my life I have been pain free.

Hi Irtiza
Firstly I am sorry to here you are In pain.
I am not really able to offer you any advice on your symptoms and give you a diagnosis as your saying you have pain in multiple regions.
What I would say is this, if your pain has been consistent for 10 months, ideally you need to have a MRI scan of the whole spinal cord, this is really the only way to show if there is any damage to your discs or if you have any spinal cord compression, an X-ray will not show this.
That's all I can really say and is the best way to find out if there is something going on in the spine.
Keep is undated and all the best.

I must disagree on the chiropractor advice. Well intended though they may be (?) they are also famous for causing harm. Especially to the human spine. And, to be perfectly honest, the premise of their therapy has been repeatedly debunked. Your choice, but I'd stick with genuine medical procedures.

1. Stopped using computers for long hours.
2. Been doing spine lengthening exercises accordingly to the renowned Gokhale method.
3. Been eating more friuts, less fats, and stopped Soda.
Here is the result: More of the same.
So I have been on a three month vacation and been lying in stead of sitting the whole day. I have started Cardio to lose weight and been doing Yoga and meditation. My inactivity has increased the pain but it is not the primary reason as the pain is relatively old.
Last night I talked to my parents in detail about this and they have agreed to take an appointment to one of the best doctors in town and have a fresh perspective at this.
