What kind of Lichen Planus is this? No symptoms (no itching, burning, etc).

Some points to consider:

  • I am a virgin. Never done anything sexual in my past, nor experienced any sexual contact
  • The bumps are NOT painful, NOT itchy, and have NOT secreted any fluid
  • I've been using the same body-wash products for a long time, and these have started appearing in February. It is substantially worse now and I do not know why.

It used to be just on the glans (the tip) and now it's all over my shaft. I have no idea what's causing this or what's worsening it.

I feel that after masturbation, more spots come. Some disappear and most are persistent. Because of this, I masturbate only once every 1-2 weeks, as it has made me extremely self conscious.

My doctor and dermatologist say its Lichen Planus. I do not have Oral Lichen Planus, but I'm worried as to why it's so bad, particularly on my genital area. I have tried Desonide, however it just blackened the spots, and after a month of use, it barely did anything. Now after I have stopped using it, it has gotten much worse.

Can anyone please tell me why it's spreading so much? It just used to be 3-4 bumps and now I can't count the amount there is. I don't know why this is happening. What creams should I try?
