What is most important to you as a COPD patient (eg symptom control? Exercise tolerance?) and what has helped you the most along the way? (eg. medication/pulmonary rehabilitation/smoking cessation)?

I in my Trade Union capacity was simply posing the question or highlighting the fact that people have contracted COPD due to their occupation and may wonder why when seeking legitimate Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit they are denied by the DWP? Entirely due to the fact that that 2 different scales are used one by the NHS that recognises that people are ill and suffering disability because they cannot breathe properly and the DWP that employ a scale devised in the 1970s that is far too stringent and gives sufferers the wrong diagnosis. If you think that is wrong and not worthy of discussion, please take me off your site.
