What may be permanent consequences after surviving a barbiturate overdose?

I've googled it and all I've found is a woman who developed lung sepsis due to bronchial aspiration.

Is there really no consequences (neurological, gastric, renal, liver, colon, skin, whatever...) related to a barbiturate overdose ?

thanks

what do you mean by overdose? one dose that is slightly higher than recommended may not have too much impact, but continually ie every day, taking barbiturates of increasing doses may have consequences like poor memory, poor co ordination, slurred speech etc. Driving under the influence of high dose barbiturates is very dangerous for these reasons

There is always the ultimate side effect of course. Death.
