What's Happening ?

Twenty three years ago I had a double heart by pass and I'm still on lots of medication, I have been taking Amlodipine 10mg and Losartan 100mg for about five years...now my blood pressure has nose dived and my GP has cut the dose of Amlodipine to 5mg and Losartan to 25mg but has given me no reason why this change has happened I also suffer from low Iron and my last blood results on that were 12 which is low could this be the problem ? I also have a multinodular goitre so they test my thyroid and the reading for that is 0.22 which to the layman is no use I wish they would explain things more.
