Hi all.
My tongue hurts really bad. Ive never had this happen so I had a doctor look at it. She said they are viral sores and I must be fighting something. She said they are cold sores on my tongue... I do have HSV1 but I always thought that when they were inside your mouth it was something different?
Is it actually from HSV1? Would my Valtrex help?

Were you confirmed with hsv1 by blood test or swab?
