What's wrong with me?

About 5 months ago I was out in the sun a lot and while I tried to stay hydrated I think I ended up failing to do so. Was drinking and the rest of the night/next day I had some flank pain for the first time in my life. This seemed to have triggered a very unpleasant last 5 months.

I don't have insurance until January 1st so tried putting this off as long as possible. Started getting pains slightly more frequent and ended up going to a doctor and explaining symptoms which include weak stream, harder to start/stop urinating, urinating frequently, etc. I wanted a urine culture/urinalysis done which both came back negative.

Fast forward another month and now I was getting lower back/bladder pain. I scheduled a sonogram to see if I had kidney stones which came back empty/negative. The doctor then did a dipstick test and said there were some white blood cells in my urine. He prescribed me bactrim for 10 days which seemed to sort of help but as soon as I was done the course the symptoms appeared again (bladder and some testicle pain).

I came back to the doctor after the first course and the doctor suggested I do an STD test, urinalysis (again), and a blood test for my prostate/PSA to see if I had prostatitis (which he said he was 95% sure was the problem). A week later (today) all of these tests came back negative. Spoke to the doctor on the phone who suggested they did all of the tests they could do and I should see a specialist (urologist) if symptoms persist.

A couple of notes here: I've had acid reflux in the past and recently have been having some gas issues as well. I don't think these are related but I guess they could be?

I don't have insurance and going to a specialist is going to be insanely expensive. Can I/should I wait the 3 weeks until I'm covered? What could this possibly be? I'm so stressed out and anxious about this. I'm usually never stressed or anxious and I'd like to get to the bottom of this

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

P.S. have never had any blood in urine (at least that was visible to me or showed up on tests)

First I want to start off by saying o hate when I write something that's really upsetting me and noone responds.

I have been thru this , I went tons urologist and everything came back negative. But I still had pressure to pee. It's been since September on and off antibiotics because it all started with a UTi, anyway I wind up.gpokf to a specialist in the city of Manhattan because it was really bringing me down

I went to a uro gynecologist. And it was a great thing o did. She explained so much to me.  I was hooked on peeing on a Dip stick and I would get a little positive for uti

Bit the doctor explained to me mostly will come up positive because of common blood found in urine. She gave me a pill to take 3 times a day because she said the problem is my bladder . My bladder was inflamed. After 2 days I was back to somewhat normal. After being down and not figuring out what the case might be for months .. I did my own research and found her.

    Good luck to you

Damn sucks to hear that man, have you tried doing an abdominal x-ray? because if there is fecal impaction, that can also result in urination problems, also you might wanna get your spine checked, just to rule out any neurological issues that you could be having. If I were you, I would try to get an abdominal x ray, and spine x ray to rule out any other concerns, and if it still comes back negative, and it's really bothering you, try heading to the er.
