What's wrong with my throat? (photo)

My throat is super sore, it hurts mostly to swallow, and really bad, and my entire neck is pretty sore. I'm wondering if I have strep throat or something, I've never had my tonsils removed and I've never had strep before . I don't normally look at my throat but there appears to be small white slacks and it's very red. It mostly hurts at the top. image
