What should I do about memory loss and doctor saying its not olanzapine.

I have experienced debilitating memory problems, my memory of the past sometimes just goes blank or vanishes. My thoughts are also effected, they feel less powerful. I told my doctor and they say it isn't my olanzapine (which is 300mg per month) and I am forced to keep on the medication (through injection). I think it is definiantly from olazapine because my memory function just got worse a few month after they had me on the 300mg per month. I don't have any serious mental problems but they keep me under a mental health act. I had a a less severe mental problem in the past but that has gone away now and I am better which I give credit to me changing my personality and the oral olanzapine I was prescribed.
What is the best thing I can present to my doctor about the memory problems I am experiencing and relate that to my 300mg olanzapine per month being the cause?

how long have you been taking Olanzapine for? I think it is disgraceful that one set of people can prescribe debilitating drugs to another set of people legally. I hope you can suggest that you are gradually tapered down the dose and eventually come off of this drug. It probably won't be easy going by other patient testimonies on this site, however it is different for everyone, even though everyone is being treated the same, maximising dosage quickly and enforcing treatment via injections. There is insufficient evidence to suggest that psychiatric drugs are safe or effective. Eat, sleep well, healthily and exercise (even short walk after meals will help) I really hope you can rise above and overcome what you have been subjected to. Thoughts and prayers with you.

HI Just want to say Im totally in agreeance with you on your reply to Cam75341. It is absolutely shocking and very disturbing what these potent psychiatric drugs can do to ones mental and physical health. It makes me so so angry! These drugs have to be very carefully prescribed and monitored.

Hello
Having had adverse affects both mentally and physically from this drug which I no longer take I wanted to reply to you. These Doctors who prescribe these potent drugs "need to Listen" to the consumer/patient! You know yourself best! They either do not know or want to know the adverse side affects! I strongly recommend you keep communicating until you are really heard and dont hesitate to get a second opinion.
