What should I expect at a neurology appointment?

Ok so for a while I have been having numbness in my limbs, burning sensations down my arms and legs, pins and needles, confusion, vertigo, blind spots, double vision, dizziness, eye twitches and many more tbh...

Anyway my doctor has decided to send me to neurology! I am in the uk so what can I expect?

I am extremely nervous but at the same time I’m so glad I am now getting taken seriously! At first my doctor mentioned MS, I haven’t been able to stop worrying about it since...

Hi Jade, I am also in the UK 🇬🇧 I was presenting with numbness, pins and needles down my left arm, so off balance I couldn’t walk unaided, deaf in my left ear, so many weird feelings.  My neurologist arranged an MRI scan which didn’t take that long really tho it felt like forever. I knew deep down I had MS, the powers of google yeah!

i couldn’t have any steroids until I’d had the scan. It’s was Christmas time so I got a cancellation.  I was called 3 days later to go for my results.

Try not to worry too much but I know what you’re going thru, I was diagnosed with RRMS 5 and a half years ago, had four relapses and now I’m on Aubagio to slow down progression.
