My 13 year old probably has hypothyroidism her pediatrician told us already she is vitamin d difencey and High triglycerides waiting on 2nd TSH test in a few weeks to confirm but what are some things that hypothyroidism patients have had issues with even while taking there medicine

Hypothyroidism should be treated prior to the cholesterol as the thyroid may influence the cholesterol levels. My cholesterol dropped from about 225 to 165 when my hypothyroidism was eventually treated. The issue of treating hypothyroidism is controversial, mainly revolving around lab numbers. There are numerous books written on the subject. The thing to remember is that thyroid treatment should make your daughter feel good, if it doesn't it needs to be adjusted no matter what the numbers say.
