What the hell just happened

So I am 24 year old male and I'm in college and under a lot of stress I've known I've had an anxiety disorder and possible OCD for a while and I am diagnosed I have Ativan and I am on limictal (spelling) for stress problems going on. But I was just at a friends house and they had on a really creepy video of a failed Google AI that did kids shows and the narrator was a really messed up crazy looking half baby doll thing as soon as I saw this thing it put fear strait into me and I just felt like I was going crazy the weirdest panic attack or what ever it was I had to get out of there I'm somewhat calming down now but I wanted to know if anyone has had something like that happen. When you just see something creepy and it just makes you want to ball up and cry or run like hell at the same time?

I also do not recommend looking it up if it freaked me out that bad it could do it to someone else... And that/this is pure terror never had something like that I couldn't even look at the thing I was just frightened like it was an actual monster and I was a child...

So sorry you felt so horrible, it happens to me all the time when watching movies that have violence my thoughts go crazy. I make myself watch movies that make uncomfortable because I don't to be anxious about everything. I just breath and tell myself is just a movie.

Patrick, I can't watch nasty videos without feeling dreadful fear and anxiety for several hours afterwardds, so you are certainly not alone.

I am sixty years old, and when The Exorcist came out I was about 18. Somw friends persuaded me to go to the pictures and watch it.

I ran out when Regan's head started going round and round.

I don't think that people who enjoy these horrible things can be in their right senses.

So you're definitely not alone, Patrick, anxiety disorder or not!

    Best wishes,

    Jasper.

I have just need diagnosed with health anxiety and haven't been able to bring myself to watch paranormal shows or horror or scary movies out of fear it might send me into a spell, as I am still having some symptoms of anxiety left over and hoping they will pass soon since it's my first time and have been on meds for only three weeks and still having dizzy/foggy spells. So I understand where you are coming from and I guess the best thing is to avoid things like this until if ever you are comfortable again. I'm hoping when I turn the corner in my own personal deal I will be able to resume life as normal preanxiety, good luck
