What time is it?

Hello Neuralgians,

A series of questions, because like TN-Sucks is feeling, that is where I'm at with this "monster".

1. Does yours strike mostly in the PM?

2. If you have had this "monster" for more than 5 years and have had procedures done that failed, what is your remedy for staying in the game?

3. If you have had a procedure that was successful, and it has come back with vengence, what is your remedy?

Thank you for any responses.

God Bless,

Greg

    Hi Greg

I've been living with TN for over10 years but didn't get diagnosed until this year. Mine is bad during the night around 2-3am for some reason. I usually end up pacing up and down until It goes off which leaves me feeling tired all the time !

Hi!  My TN is the exact opposite.  It's in the morning, until I can dose myself to death with my meds.  I'm wondering if maybe I'm clenching or grinding my teeth while I sleep, and that's exacerbating it.  I've had TN for nearly 6 years now.  I've tried many meds that worked for a while, but then not!  I've had UNsuccessful MVD surgery.  It worked for 4 months.  Oh, I was heavenly while it lasted!  The 'cocktail' of meds I'm taking now seems to be working well.  Carpemazam, Baclofen, and Gapapentin.  Ask your doc!  Keep the faith, and I hope this helps!  This is a wonderful site to get answers from fellow sufferers as opposed to doctors!
