What to do?

I'm now 4 weeks in, 1.5 weeks on 10mg and 2.5 weeks on 20mg. I had one better week when I went up to 20mg but that has long gone. I currently feel nauseous, panicky, on edge, shaky, unable to concentrate - ALL day long. Sleep is getting worse too. What is going on?! Will I ever get some relief from this?!

Do you guys think this is all side effects? I feel like I'm losing it 😦

its all sideeffects .remember the celexa magnifies the anxiety lurking and hiding in the background.the benzo will do the trick.

Yes, I am going to ask for some as really need some relief. I've noticed the anxiety and tension seems to peak at around lunch time (apart from first thing in the morning which is a horrible time), I wonder if this is when the meds reach the highest level? I take them at around 7:30-8am.

please be careful with benzos! not everyone reacts badly but i had withdrawals after taking them for a week, we arent doctors so shouldnt really advise people to take anything

first of all everyone is different with the benzo i took them for one year never wean and did not suffered any drama .second of all you are asking your doctor for the benzo wether i or anyone advise you on this forum to try the benzo .it is your doctors choice to prescribe the benzo.every ones experiences on any meds is just that simple our or thier experiences only.your doctor is the only one with the power to prescribe .so my or anyones advise is a bit irrelavent .but from my experience and quite a few millions of folks the benzo did do its job.best regards

    Hi Marketta

I would say that your doctor has increased your dose too soon. Your body dud not have time to get used to 10mg and now it us having to deal with twice the amount. What you are experiencing are common side-effects if the drug, when you start or change the dosage. It is best not to keep changing the dose, so stick with 10mg. I had about 6 weeks of increased anxiety but it has now subsided after 11 weeks on the drug. I am taking it more for depression but it dud cause anxiety initially. Hang in there!
