I have had rectocele and enterocele repair in May this year. I have just had a second surgery and I am now 5 days post laparoscopic hysteropexy (re-suspension of the uterus) and cystocele repair. Both very different ops with different recoveries. Both on a par with childbirth in my opinion but definitely worth it to try and get my pelvic area back to normal

A major operation. i have had all but the suspension. You will need 3 months to recover fully and must take things very slowly. Get as much help as possible organised beforehand. If you have a partner /husband then make sure you explain what the op is all about and that you will need lots of support in the weeks afterwards.

Its worth it to get rid of those problem bits of your anatomy. Be prepared to be a bit weepy, but this doesnt affect everyone.
