What to expect as botox wears off

It's 9 weeks since my botox which left me incontinent and surgeon clear fissure has not and will not heal

He wants to see me in 6 weeks before doing anything else so that he is confident continence has been restored

Does any one know what I'm likely to experience as the botox wears off ?

Already the pains are different...Less on the surface and more penetrating and my fear is that the internal sphincter will go into the horrendous spasms I first experienced when I got the fissure

I had only a short time with the consultant this week and he hurries me along and I only think of the questions I should have asked afterwards !

Would like to hear from others who have experienced failed botox

    Hi Jennifer perhaps he just gave you more Botox than you needed ?  Either way the effects of it won’t be permanent

    I imagine the next step would be internal sphincterotomy?!   

    Obv once continence is restored 

    It’s a terrible area I swear
