What to take for headaches while on Prozac?

Hi!

I've been having really bad headaches the past two days, maybe a side effect from starting Prozac recently. What can I take? I read that Advil should not be taken while on Prozac.

    I take advil on prozac. You just have to be careful if you have kidney or liver problems because it can increase bleeding. But i've always taken advil with it.

    Hi Julian,

    Are you new to Prozac?  I ask because I used to suffer fortnightly migraines until I went onto Prozac.  I've been on them for 3+ months now, and I remember in the first couple of weeks I had a bad head and took Panadol Extra Advance and that certainly took the edge of it.  Since then, I've never had a headache, let alone a migraine. Amazing result - quite aside from it being an antidepressant, I reckon I'll continue taking it for it's anti-migraine properties.

      Thank you everyone! I decided to take Advil last night and felt much better. 😊
