Good morning....I am two weeks out from my surgery and I experience that same thing...The burning was the worse and I had the numbness as well as the singleness and feeling like something was crawling in my foot...I call and ask my doctor was this normal and I was told that this sometimes happen when you have and ankle block which can cause nerve damage..So my doctor prescribed me Neurotin for the burning that I was feeling....The meds did work for me...But as the days go by you will start too feel better and once the bandage and stitches are remove your feel a thousand times better...At least I know I did yesterday when it was remove...It felt like a balloon had deflated...For me my foot looks horrible but in time like the doctor told me it will go back to normal...And I can walk better now without the bandage on so I walk with a cane and I'm only weeks out...My advice for you is when your reading everyone's forum's remember that everyone different and everyone healing is different and the reason why I say that is because I read about people having their stitches taking out and it had me scared too death and I had myself all work up and it felt like a bee sting...So just follow your doctor's advice and do make sure your elevated your 👣👣👣👣.

hi i am 3 weeks out from having surgery. My doctor had me take Celebrex for three days before surgery and after. he gave me TRAMIDAL for the pain after but only needed it 2 night and it really was not that bad but i just wanted to make sure i slept. i had xrays rwo days after surgery. dr put the stitches inside so no removal. still cant drive. still in a boot. minimal weight only on heel right now. head back in about 9 days for recheck. hoping to be cleared to drive. big toe is stiff moving it upwards so i need to loosen it by manually lifting it up and holding for 10 seconds. still need to elevate and ice when needed.

looking forward to a pedicure !
