What was life like before diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency?

I'm curious to know what kind of experiences people with adrenal insufficiency / addisons disease had before being diagnosed.

Did symptoms develop and worsen over many years?

Did you ever have a normal cortisol level before being diagnosed later?

Did you crave sugar and feel better after meals?

Did you feel better with salt?

Were there ups and downs of fatigue with always a low level of fatigue but then fluctuations with more intense fatigue? If so, what helped?

Were you diagnosed with POTS or ME/CFS or IBS prior to addisons?

Any info you can give would be helpful!

perfectly fit and healthy, then had a shoulder rotator cuff operation and was left with temporary Pituitary gland failure and permanent adrenal gland failure. medical professionals have no answers.
