Good information.  The first thing my kidney doctor did was stop my diuretic too.  But my blood pressure went way too high, often in the upper 150's to 160's.  Now my meds control the pressure although sometimes it gets down to 116/65, all the doctors are satisfied with this range, because as the meds wear off during the day it rises to 130/70.

Rick, this certainly sounds like your doctor has your BP in good range overall! That's great. I know it can be tricky to manage BP effectively.

High potassium will make you feel sick and nauseas! It is also dangerous and can lead to a heart attack if not treated!

Hope you are being treated for it. Sounds like you could be very dehydrated.

    Good luck
