What were your symptoms and how were diagnosed?!

I have been having stomach issues for about 2 years. It started off with me getting diarrhea. My stool was also yellow or green at times. Then came the toilet with blood. Immediately I panicked. I went to the doctor and all labs were normal except my Neutrophils which were elevated. I had a CT scan, fobt, and colonoscopy and all can back clear. I am terrified I have IBD or colon cancer. I have Elevated Neutrophils and diarrhea followed by days of bleeding. Since 2 years ago I have only went 4 1/2 months without bleeding. It usually happens every other month after a day or two of diarrhea and lasts for a few days. I am meeting with a new Gastro today and hopefully getting another colonoscopy to get to the bottom of things. Can someone please help? I’m so stressed with all of this.

I have the same fears as you for 1+ year. In the meantime I read all the internet forums, articles about bloody stools, mucus and similar things. What I learned so far is that people are rarely diagnosed with cancer. If you're not old and your colonoscopy came back clear chances for cancer are really minimal.
When it comes to yellow stools, I noticed them every times I'm panicking and have attacks of health anxiety. Chances are this is the case with you too.
If there was anything serious I assume they would notice that during colonoscopy.
How about IBS? Did they found any hemorrhoids, anal fissures?

You should not worry about the color of your stool. More you worry, more yellow it will be Try to relax (I know that's not easy right now) and things will get better.
After reading many internet posts etc I think that colitis hits people who tends to worry too much, pessimistic and depressive people.
Your diarrhea could be caused by IBS and bleeding could be due to hemorrhoids or something benign like that. Just try not to worry too much!
