my bv is starting to resurface ....
so after day 5 of suppositories I'm at a cross roads I've had no bv smells until this morning I've took 5 nights worth of suppositories I've to take them for 7 nights .
I've been getting a bit of irritation after inserting them it now feels like I've thrush .
I can't get any thrush treatment till Monday.
I had some little thick white / slightly slightly yellow discharge and it had a slight smell to it .
so I think either these suppositories are to
my question is do I carry on with the 2 more nights suppositories remaining and wait for thrush treatment ?( if its thrush )
its probably bv back but I've really bad thrush symptoms so I'm just wondering if its thrush .
I do have a box or pro botic vaginal capsules
they are suppose to build a protective wall around the area and prevent thrush and bv do I take them in hope they might work for thrush ( if it is thrush )
I was going to originally start them after 7 days worth of suppositories but now I've smelt bv smells I dont know if the bv is back or its thrush .
I'm sorry if I've confused anyone .

i would treat it as thrush for now any creams or anything u put up there is likley to cause a bit of yeast i used pessarys and gels and got thrush both times

i took probiotics for yeast and bv it keeps the yeast at bay but dosnt get rid of the bv

do the remainin two night take ur probiotics until u get to see gp

Thank you Kimi I feel so sore its untrue .
it's like having sex when your not moist and it kills for 24 hours after .
it's hard to find any info on this but I managed to read up about it being sore and 3 out of the 4 posts or the different girls stopped they couldn't take the irritation the other continued .
can I take a vaginal pro botic the same time
because I'd be sticking 2 different things up the sore tunnel ?
I'll take your advice but I'll hold taking the vaginal capsule - pro botic until someone can tell me because I dont know if I can take both in the tunnel together.
oh the struggle ...horrible horrible so fed up with it .

hmm what i would do is treat ur bv at night then use the probiotic threw the day to treat the yeast

Thanks for your replies I took your advice I took the 6th suppository last night and I was glad I listened to you because it didn't sting infact it was like I'd never put anything up my tunnel .
I checked my smalls this morning and I could only smell a healthy clean smell .
I'll see if it comes back when I finish the 7 days other wise I'll use one every day if I can get away with it and I do not become immune from them.

alot of people have used them both togeather bit of a double whammy on the bv whilst controlling the yeast probiotics have worked for some women

yeast usually has a bread or beer like smell to it bv well it can be owt from fishy to onion to amonia or sour smell 😩

yeast is thick like chunks of cottage cheese white /yellow or can be a bit stringy and bv is thin watery white or yellow

if this b***h comes back I'll continue my life indoors I suppose I just dont know what else I can do and I'm one of many here who are in the same position.
I'm dreading the next day or so .
I know I'll go into a deep depression.
where are you at so far ?

well so far iv had probitoics metronodiazole iv tried most natural things like changin undewear from thongs to cotten pants iv stopped using bath products and using a milder soap i tried natural yogurt i used balance active pessarys and i tried an over the counter gel didnt work im now trying clindamycin cream from the doctor iv used it the last 4 nights and its gone iv got 3 nights left to do so far all symptoms of bv have gone weather or not it will last is another storey iv got oral probiotics which im going to start tomorrow because can guarentee will get a yeast infection once the cream has stopped

i had meteonidiazole 2g dose every month for 5 months plus i did 14 days metronidiazole doxycycline an 1 dose of cipro because it caused pelvic inflammatory disease they treated me for everything even tho i swabbed clear for all stds

i used clotrimazole pessarys for yeast an iv had 5 days fluconizole back when i was on the metronidiazole its bad for causing yeast probably one of the worst antibiotics iv taken tbh with you and i dont think ill take it agai. even uf the bv came back it only took the symptoms away until i got my period then it was back again waste of time

balance active pesserys are what I'm taking now but I'm afraid it's going to come back especially if it came back for you.

are you also in a realtionship?
as for my gp forget it I've to go walk ins at hospital I'm from Birmingham and even.gum clinics same thing I get the same antibiotics you've listed .
I was put on that cream your on it didn't work for me .
