Whats the average referral time for endoscopy

Hi

My partner is suffering from GERD a lot in the last two months and has been referred to a specialist and maybe endoscopy.

His GP has referred him but he hasn't got a date yet.

How long do you have to wait for a letter with a date?

Do you know if there is a long wait from letter, to meeting specialist, to having the endoscope down the throat?

He's not doing well everything from his stomach to his bum is in pain.

He's on GERD low acid diet but gets Diarrhoea a lot.

I'm not sure if COVID-19 would affect this department wait times?

We're based in London / Southwark so might be at St Thomas'
