my friends all say its thyroid cancer but i dont think so, my symptoms; I sleep no more than 3 hours a night, if i sleep at all. I rarely ever eat. Im 17 years old so i wake up at 4 every morning to get ready for school and then i work afterwards. if i dont drink a 5hour energy or a redbull atleast twice during the day i get extreme bone and muscle aches, and after two days without caffeine i develop depression like symptoms. this has been my lifestyle since i was 12 and my mother will not take me to a doctor... is there anyone out there with a real diagnosis? please.

Hi there Kristopher, boy your friends are really encouraging arent they! Ok you say your mother wont take you to a doctor? You know that you can go in and make an appointment for yourself, dont need your mum to do it. Are you registered with a GP? If so phone or go in and make an appointment. If youre not registered you can easily find a GP practice in your area and ask to register with them. The symptoms you are describing could be down to anxiety or depression or a number of things (probably not thyroid cancer!), but to put you mind at rest you must go and see a doctor. They will probably want to do a blood test to see if anything shows up. Youve been suffering and worrying needlessly for a long time, get thee to a doctor young man! smile

I agree with Happyface, also, about getting a blood test for your thyroid levels. Once you get that, however, depending on the diagnosis, you may be able to heal it naturally.

From my own experience, what started out as a blood test that revealed an overactive thyroid, I now know that my thyroid condition was seconday and that the primary source of my symptoms was my adrenals (adrenal exhaustion). If that is the case, you want to focus on those, also, and healing your adrenals may likely heal your thyroid, too, as the thyroid condition may happen because of the exhausted adrenals.

I wrote another note. I think it will be coming through shortly.

    Veronica
