When can I?

I am so confused about when the need to continue the 90 degree rule to, when I can have a bath and how the heck I get down in it.

When can I sit in a normal dining room chair or on my couch where my knee will be higher than my hip.

When can I dispense with the loo raiser ? And finally when can I sleep on my operated side?

My surgeon said no more restrictions at six weeks but many continue them for twelve weeks.

i can now sleep on my operated side for a few hours at 12 weeks out, not comfortable till now

i stopped raised toilet seat early as I didn’t like it and our toilets are quite high. If you sit in a low seat keep your leg stretched out in front of you so you don’t bend your hip too much. These are questions only your surgeon can answer really as they all have different ideas

I like having a bath, but I stuck with showers until 3 months. I found it quite tricky getting in and out of the bath initially, but if you have grab handles it would be easier. Good luck!
