When can I start activity

On day 4 from ER and antibiotics. first acute attack Dx diverticulitis. did bed rest till yesterday , day 3 stared soft diet yesterday, felt fine. today feeling great , not sick, but started cleaning , laundry, etc , haven't eaten yet , but started getting lower left quad pain and left side abdomen still hurts to touch.

question is : when can i start my normal activity again?how long should i do resting?

called my GI Doc, could'nt get apointment till end October.should i see sooner.?
