I'm with you mate, I've been using rectogesic glycerin ointment for 4 weeks now. there's been a lot of improvement . but the pain and anal discomfort is still there. can't even stand up for too long.

my advice then is go back to your doctor and pushed to be referred. I ended up having both injections there and although I still get it occasionally its not as bad. I hope this helps x

well I already have a referral for a colec surgeon just waiting for all this covid to settle down.

but the current cream has been helping. but like do you keep using it for months as fissures take time to heal or when do you stop ..

reading the instructions it says to use it till the pain goes away. well I still got the pain so I guess I'll have to use it. also doing hot baths to promote healing . Cant to the sitz bath as after awhile I feel pain sitting down

keep using the cream. even when u see the surgeon they will know u have had a tear. if u have botox u will still need to continue using the cream after for a short period of time. I have just ordered some salts to go in the bath to help me. just try and do relaxation in the bath as it does get worse when u tense. also avoid caffeine
