When does sleep improve?

Hi I have been so worried about sleep. It seemed like I had a few good days on my own last week going to sleep but still waking every couple hours. Now I'm having difficulty falling asleep and last night I had to take a sleeping pill. I'm on 50mg zoloft in the morning and I'm almost in my 4th week.

Thanks Joe I wake up still bit depressed because I could not fall asleep on my own. I hate having to do a pill to go to sleep. No matter how sleepy I am my mind won't shut off. Did you have that problem? Doctor says it's the anxiety.

Dear Avril,
Do you mind sharing your story of going up to 200 mg? I'm struggling on 100 mg (went from 75-100) - increased anxiety and nausea.

My sleep has improved a lot. I am on week 8 of 50mg. I still wake up a few times in the night but I don’t worry about it as much as I used to which I never thought I’d b a able to say ever! Your sleep will improve and u WILL sleep again without sleeping tabs. I used sleeping tablets for 2 Months straight and now just take a Phenergan x

Thanks vanilla123. Sleep is so important. I have anxiety to taking anxiety meds believe it or not. My Dr says it's ok to do .5 or .25 klonopin until zoloft kicks in. I'm approaching my 4th week. I am going to be starting a new job soon and I just want my sleep back. Thank you for the positive response.

The side effects for the first two months were horrific but thankfully have passed.
