When enough is enough for the Word Caths

Guys I had my first time at one of these things, and I had just been shaving and felt a small bump,i got the mirror, couldn't see anything, only could feel it, within 24 hours it MORE than quad in size, still could only feel it, it was super deep, could not see it at all, well im 36 have had a complete hysto because I kept getting cysts on my ovaries that ruptured and made me very ill and kept getting me hospitalized. It was horrible, anyway, I went to my specialist and she was like I believe its a Bartholins cyst, but ive never only been able to feel it and not see it, its deep against your pelvic bone, im like ya thinks i didn't know that, (sarcasm) anyway after 7 (count them )7 Md's came into the room and the collectively decided cut it open put the word cath in , honestly some much happened so fast i didn't even know what questions to ask, and had it not been for websites and woman like you guys i still would be clueless, I have had this tube (that they OVER filled btw) and caused horrible pain way more than the "cyst" itself, and i couldn't now walk, and i had a tube in my now broke vagina, anyway, so they made an appointment for a month, didn't offer answers to what most women ask, so i honeslty was clueless. Well now the overfilled balloon has moved over this past 2 1/2 wks and its pushing so hard on the tiny cut that its causing it to rip, no more fluids draining on the pads, only fresh red blood from the balloon pressing against it so hard, like the cavity that was open when they put the balloon in has healed leaving it no room but to push against the cut..I dont go back for 15more days, but I am on the verge of cutting this stupid tip off the cath so it will drain and come out...the other weird thing, is now all of the sudden theres "itching" and a lovely little odor.....Really as if its not already horrible enough!

Suggestions...oh befor you as NO i can't get back into my doctor before the end of the year!

Oh in addition to this, it was so painful after the cath got put in that I was certain they did it incorrectly, and also they refused to give me pain meds, so I legit had to get them on my own, nice right! So im not a huge fan of the provider that did this.....OHHH and the other thing they said was and I do Quote " off that I have never seen one that was only fresh and dried dark blood, they usually are a gross mix of puss and clear fluids with a little blood but never only all blood" so now im stressing that it could be related to having some type of cancer and they didn't even check for anything..why wouldn't they check for something, what caused it, if only "2%" of women get them, then why not investigate..Im so stressed, and I work full time, my mind hasn't been able to focus on anything for almost 3 weeks..

do you guys know what would make it be suspisious of cancer or other illnesses? or if its JUST a random cyst

When they drain the cyst they do a culture. If anything comes back abnormal they will let you know. Every doctor should do this. That is how they can tell if you have cancerous cells.

well they told me during the process they were going to, but the issue was there were 7 doctors in there and they didn't communicate who was responsible for what, i called my actual surgeon that was not able to even be there that day and she told me the day i posted this that if theres not a lump and its tearing the incision to go cut the tip of the word cath off, this will cause the remainder of the fluid to drain instantly and then come out, do sitz baths still at least twice daily and flush with water and then massage to encourage any draining left to continue..no draining has happened at all and they did not do any testing..im p*ssed

You have a better chance of no reoccurrences, the longer it stays I but If it hurts that bad you should ask them to take it out. I've had to get one too many times to count. Maybe 15-20 times. I had it done by 4 different doctors. Only one doctor that inserted hurt. I never used him again.

yeah it was weird because non  of the 7 doctors had ever seen this happen, you couldn't see the "cyst" at all, only feel it, and it was in that place between your labia and leg, as well you could feel it by pushing on my butt cheek, as well as the "taint" area, it was big but you couldn't see it, it wasnt in my labia were all my research is showing they should have been, im concerned it was something else and they screwed up any chances of early detection and it scares the hell out of me, not to mention, there was zero puss, ONLY dark dark and bright red blood, thats it... they said thats not normal...hmmm not normal but NO ONE ran tests...Fantastic, im so super glad i did that...and 15-20 times my gosh woman, i wont do this again EVER! i have a slice in my labia thats for sure going to scar and it was so painful i dosed myself into a sleeping coma so i didn't have to deal with it...NEVER agin

Sometimes you get them really deep. I've had ones like that. Is it completey gone?

If it doesn't, do research on a good doctor that has experience with this condition. Search the Internet and call gynecologist offices and ask them to recommmend someone that has experience doing several of them, not just a few. You can get permanent nerve damage and they can make the incision in the wrong area. I started going to a gynecologist oncologist that is one of the best. He keeps telling me to do the surgery but I keep putting it off because I'm terrified from all of the stories im reading. But I think I have no other choice but to. I hope you never get this again because it is just awful. You makes it difficult on not only your relationship but your job too. I have called out of work several times because I couldn't walk and was bed ridden for 2 days at a time until my doctor could see me. It's embarrasing having to explain to your boss what your going through.
