When off Citalopram how long for side effects to Dissappear?

I have been on 10mg of Citalopram (Celexa) for about 3 months and had the side effects of Hallucinating, Confusion and lack of concentration. My dr took me off this and on to Fluanaxol (Proxac) about 12-14 days ago and allthough all of the Citalopram should have cleared out of my system after 10 days i am still experiencing the Citalopram side effects. Does anyone know how long untill they dissappear?

    i don't know how it works to be fair but it might be your new medication trying to settle too? when i was swapped from 20mg citalopram to 20mg paroxetine due to intense side effects i felt like it was out of my system after 3-4 days. i could be wrong but may be worth talking to your doctor about just incase!
