When The Student is Ready, The Teacher will Appear!!

I learned this when I first entered into Science of Mind (SOM) teachings....that was in the 1980's..... I've never lost the principles.  Many self help programs use SOM teachings including AA etc...

I've had so MANY teachers in my life, and just called a good friend I met in 1994 and was on my holistic path already but her friendship pushed me along more so.   I thank her a a lot and was telling her about my daughter and her new teachers...

My daughter 51 was in a 17 yr stressful/controlling marriage and got very sick and ended up on too  many pharma drugs and she has paid from the drugs and the damage to her body.

She is working on healing and now "hears" me a lot and just told me she gets so much help from our Homeopathic Pharmacy in our town, it's been there since 1948 and sells all homeopathics and supplements and a staff of alternative healing people.

So her teachers are appearing and she is HEARING them....she wasn't ready when she was married.....they did go thru a divorce and sadly for the children, the ex died of cancer at 55....he smoked too  long....sad but he chose his life...

She has been taking grape seed extract for some yrs now, extra magnesium daily, homeopathics, MSM powder which the homeopathic people have her on.    And many other supplements.    

So I'm a happy camper, knowing my daughter and her children are on their healing paths wholistically.   

Some people listen, and act and many are stuck in the traditional ways...some use both ways, and some use MOSTLY wholistic healing....

I've seen it all, some minds will never be changed and some are.....

Take care all, off to play bridge with my mostly non holistic friends....but we love bridge.   joy 76 US

    We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Care symptom by symptom seems to me very unsatisfactory. I had a doctor years ago who would only deal with one symptom per visit. I counted him a dangerous doctor. I look for help and embrace it where I find it. This should be a most interesting discussion. The doctor I most trusted was confident enough to tell me on more than one occasion "I just do not know."

    couldn't agree more about the teacher appearing when you're ready...and like you I so much appreciate those on the path of alternative healing with me....so i count you as one of my teachers too....!!

    infact I was reminded about the importance of NOT supporting conventional medecine in any way at all. It just regenerates the bad at the expense of the good...promoting the very factors of enviromental destruction that the alternative movement aims to support.

      I have much sympathy with those views and have moved in your direction in the last 20 or so years. I still think that there are horses for courses. I cetainly no longer consider pharaceutical, neuclear and surgical medicine the only health resources. Nutrician is hugely, and I mean mind stageringly hugely underplayed. I look at genetic medicine with great aprehention and I am terrified how genetic engineering has a grip on world food resources.
