You can start wherever you like as long as it is no more than 10% of your current dose. once down to 10mg, then 1mg, if the 1mg does not work, try 0.5mg.

There is another one called 'Tortoise not the Hare' if you want a copy of that one send me a PM.

Not if you are following DSAS or TNTH.

Steady as she goes and if you want copies of both, with explanation send a PM with your email address.

    Hi Linda

i had a flare at 10 going to 9 and a second flare at 13 and went back up to 25.   Since then I have gone down 1 mg a week.  I am now ar 15 and from here I will do the dead slow and stop going down 1 mg. til I get to 10.  After that much longer on each dose reducing at  .05

i have not experienced any fatigue or pain going this slow

I would like to share my experience with when I have a flare.

I started with 15mg. After 2 weeks I feel my condition was very stable, the Dr told me to reduce the dose to 7.5mg if the condition is still stable. So I did that. After I started the 7.5mg I felt the condition fell back and getting worse, so I increased the dose to 8.5mg and found the condition getting better and stable. This is what my doctor told me: If you find that your condition is very stable for a few weeks to a month then you can reduce 1 mg and as soon as you find that the pain getting worse add 1 to a few mg to test your body's response or go back to the last dose volume.

When I reduced the dose from 3mg to 2mg I also found the condition fell back, after 2 weeks I went back to 3mg and was stable. Two weeks ago I reduce the dose from 3mg to 2.5mg. I've got to be very careful when it almost come to the end of it. I think I better reduce 0.5mg instead of 1mg a time.
