When will all of this stop ! on HRT and so many new symptoms

Posted , 4 users are following.

I have been on HRT since April 2021 It has taken away so many of my previous symptoms and I should be soo happy dont get me wrong I am in a better place since I started. But I am so up and down every single day. I have new symptoms every week. Each morning its a crap shoot on what is going to happen now.

How long will it take for all of these things to just go away. I thought HRT is supposed to get rid of thiswhy am I taking a chance on getting cancer if I am going to feel "almost ok" some days I feel it isn't worth the risk . I do not have a good quality of life.

    Hey Corrine..

One of my girlfriend's mother said years ago, menopause goes to the grave with you! Joy Behar (The View) said a few days ago, she had it for 20 years, I know she is telling the truth, simply because I've had it for 16 years and counting! The HORRIFIC symptoms are relentless! I refuse to take HRT because there are many women who've said they developed Cancer while taking HRT. Anyhoo, my menopausal journey is an ALL-NATURAL one! I eat right, exercise, take very good vitamins, write, have fun, spend time with my great nephew, play Scattergories on my phone, attend outdoor family gatherings, etc.. That being said, you will have to do things that make you happy Corrine... in order to get through this hell of an ongoing rollercoaster ride.

Thank you, and yes i can believe it goes on for years, my mother had it for 15yrs and she took HRT ( that I can remember) she passed away of cancer of the gall bladder and I believe that HRT was probably the cause. I had my gall bladder removed quite a few years ago but my quality of life is soo bad that I had to take the risk. I dont want to stay on it forever I just need to get back to my old self for a few months. I am having a really hard time accepting that this is all caused by hormones, maybe because my Dr is not accepting that either. I have such trouble questioning her knowledge. once I get better I will wean off the HRT.

You're welcome, Corrine.. Regarding doctors and menopause (especially male) its like talking to a toddler. MANY of them don't understand what we are trying to convey to them. That being said, research the symptoms and take care of yourself. I'm happy, you wont be on HRT forever! Suffice it to say, HORMONES & IMBALANCED HORMONES WREAK HAVOC ON US WOMEN!
