When will it stop?

Hi everyone...

I'm Leigh, female & 24!

Last July I started suffering GAD and panic attacks, at the time I thought I was having a heart attack! It has now been constant ever since! I've had so many visits to a&e I've lost count! My own doctor just looks at me now as if I'm daft! I've tried medication and cbt but didn't find either useful! I still work full time (37 hours a week) as an admin officer and I also have a 5 year old daughter and parter of 7 years! Recently I've been having dizzy spells, sore heads and just an all round feeling of being unwell! I've just put it down to the anxiety and tried my best to get on with it! In the past two days I've developed the worst stomach pain ever! It's right in the centre above my belly button! Is this common or should I again go to the doctor? I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever be normal again! Any advice would be grateful or if anyone is in the same situation as me. Just looking for a little reassurance! Thanks x

Hello, I'm 25 with a 3 year old daughter. I've got health/general anxiety. My doctor is also fed up of me, but trying to help. I'm not sure is stomach pains are an anxiety thing. If it carries on get it checked out. I'm on holiday and although my anxiety is still there I've had less time to think so my advise is to try and keep yourself busy and remind yourself it's just anxiety x

You got a busy life going buddy so I guess the anxiety is just about running you right now. STOP........BREATH.......TAKE CONTROL. Remember anxiety feeds on every stress, every bump in the road and I guess your head is a mess. Take five and relax, mindfullness, relaxation, meditation what ever gets you to cool your body and mind. As for the stomach if you been stressing yourself out your producing stomach acid by the bucket load, see GP or get some good antacids

Hi guys, thanks for the reply.... Feel slightly better this morning as I had a good sleep, back to work today from being on holiday so not sure if I'm so anxious because I'm out of a routine. No I stopped all the meds I was on propanol and was getting no worse. Maybe it's just a bad phase right now fingers crossed x

Hi Leigh, stomach pains were a big cause/factor of my anxiety. I had lots of tests and nothing was found and now I'm on anti depressants (which are really helping my anxiety) the stomach pains have faded away! So perhaps they were all in my head... Il never know now I guess! Anyway, anxiety can defintely be a cause of digestive problems, if see you doctor either way x
