Where it all began !

Hello There,
I am a 47 year old woman who in May 2021 suffered her first complete spontaneous pnuemothorax! After a week in hospital I was fine to go home ! fast forward to the 6th December 2021 I scuppered a partial secondary pnuemothorax, same lung ( right hand side ) ! I was admitted and aspirated in resus but it failed and meant then admittance to a ward where for 4 days they waited to see if my lung would repair on its own , it didn't so had a chest drain fitted ! on the 29th December I was transferred to a hospital that specialises in lung surgery and that day underwent Right Vats Bullectomy, Pleurectomy and Bronchoscopy ! I have to admit that i was unprepared for the pain, heaviness and everything else inbetween! A week after hospital discharge I contracted COVID and needless to say was horrific dealing with being poorly with that and healing from major lung surgery ! A week after I was clear from covid , I was sat here and all of a sudden felt like something was closing over my throat and I freaked out big time and since then I have been struggling with stress anxiety and shortness of breath and just any emotional response sets me off gasping for air and keep getting this lump in the throat and like my throat is closing off ! just reaching out looking for some advice and support, simular stories ! I am so afraid and don't recognise who I have become since May 2021 ! Thankyou and sorry its brief xx
