where now?

hi all

very depressed what can i do now ? had a phone call from the hosp to tell me that i,m on 2 surgeons lists for surgery but!!!! dont know if i,ll have my surgery by xmas. i,ve had all the tests x rays , mri saying that i have a large prolapse and displacement of cord at c5 (in feb 07) after 15 mths of waiting what next i,ve just about given up , i really want to go back to work but i cant due to health and saftey for gods sake whats up with this country??????????? i can honestly say this is the first time i felt defeted. but I<LL be back hopfully, i have had a lot of good feedback from patient and hopfully will help me to move on but god how frustrating !!!!!!!!!!! thanks all for being there on my \"journey\" i,ll need you now more than ever.thanks mates gail

    :ta: thanks both im feeling a little better today about it and just sent my last complaint off i cant cope anymore so what will be will be, i,ve spoken to hubby about it and we both agree if i lose my job (even though its a great one) i,ll have to look for another when im fit but that doesnt help the fact my income has taken a nose dive. but my health is more important. I,ll speak to my gp about the pain meds (so afraid they recking my insides) and to ask if im likely to have permanant nerve damage due to the wait, cant do any more just sit (oh cant do that too painful)and wait. thanks for listening. gail
