To all of you,
I just visited my Pulmonary Specialist that followed a PFT. We reviewed the results and I still only have 30% lung function remaining. My life is not easy at all folks.
I must stop every few steps to regain my breath. I use the breathing exercises to ease the breathlessness. I'm aware that my lungs are not expelling the CO2 properly, I use my Nebulizer daily and my Ventolin inhaler as I feel the need. In addition, I take Mucinex to ease the mucus problems.
That said I still can't see where Oxygen, on a limited therapy basis, would not help. After all when I'm out of breath my body is crying for oxygen.
I don't want to do myself harm, but I just can't see the harm in my using an oxygen concentrator.
As always I'm open to hear about vitamins, diet, exercises, etc. that will help improve my/your COPD afflicted lives. Whatever it takes to help improve my/your Quality of Life.
All the Best
