Which therapies needed after accident

My relative had a bad accident two weeks ago - a fall from 4 metres. She has had two operations and for nose and thumb fractures. Her knee was scanned and though the scan was OK she still has pain in all the affected areas including her knee. She is using crutches. This happened while on holiday abroad and she is going to see her GP on Monday. We would like to know which therapies she ought to be referred to before seeing the doctor so we are prepared for any oversights by the GP. Obviously physiotherapy being one of them. Also any advice on thumb injury would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hand surgeon to check out that thumb because to lose a thumb is to lose a lot.
Knee specialist.
ENT
Physical therapy
Elevation above heart, so pillows
rest cause your body is working hard to heal
ice. suggest gel packs, no drip, flat rather than pointy ice cubes, remain cold longer, at least four
How very kind of you

Thanks a lot. She had op on thumb - had a pin put in. Its going to be the most difficult injury to recover from. Going to try to get referral to the hand and arm clinic which is bit far from us but seems to be the best place.
Didn't know bout elevation so thanks for that. We got ice too. Pain killers also. Seems to be needing less of them today. But rest seems necessary and if not she gets tired.

What a horrible accident. The darnest things can happen when we least especially it.
the doctor should be seen first and brought up to date on the injuries and medications. In the US Physio can only be referred by the doctor.
Once thst hat it accomplished then therapy will get the heeling bids mind and spirit thru progress and exercises.
