While living in Hong Kong I was advised to try Dihydrocodeine for relief of back pain. In general the drug seems to work fairly well at relieving my pain and elevating my mood as a bonus. However, lately I am experiencing ringing in the ears and am beginning to think the Dihydrocodeine may be behind the trouble.

Wow thats interesting cos i've just been diagnosed as having tinitus and I couldn't understand why i have it cos i was never one for loud music or anything like that. Not one sinlge one of the docs ever suggested it was the df118's that may have caused it.

I was told it will never go away. Annoying.... but i suppose compared to the pain its a small price to pay.

seems to me there is quite a bit to this drug.on top of which when i had a quiet word with a pharmacist about its addictive nature he was rather disinterested and i suspect he thought i was trying to get more without a script.heaven forbid...10 days after last dose am still running to the loo and not sleeping.can understand why people get sucked back into it,which remarkably the pharmacist suggested at one point to relieve withdrawal symptoms!!!!!!!!! take care all.here to support others if needed.
