Whip Worm

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello. I was diagnised with ameoba and whip worm last May. I took paramomycin, tidomax and albenza.

I just went back to the Dr. and was told I still had whip worm- he gave me albexa for three days 2 pills per day- same as in May.

I still have aignificant symptoms.

Can anyone indicate to me why the whip worm was not killed with the first alebnza dose of three days in May and should I take it for longer?

I need to get rid of this worm?

Just to add I have worked in many countires and have had many other parasites over the years but never one that lingers like the whip worm?

Any treatment suggestions?

thank you

From what I understand, you have to keep taking medication every 3 months until it is gone. I also researched & found out you should switch up the med type because the parasites will become immune if you use the same prescription. Can't say I've heard of going the medication route being much of a success. Especially if your gut isn't otherwise clean or you are feeding the parasites with sugar in your diet. There are a LOT of ways to add some natural ammo. Look up Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Human Parasites. Even Pumpkin seeds, shell & all, can help by cutting them up.

    Hi oceanne ~

Your problem with whip worms, does it extend to other areas in the body?  meaning, do you feel them in your eyelids and such?  I've had some dang thing that keeps bothering me and causing havoic to my eyes...along with the fact that I have sjogrens disease.  But, I've actually pulled a worm our from under my eyelid and the thing did a whip with the tail of it...did that happen to you or anyone else?

Hello. I am not sure if the whip worm has gone to other parts of the body. I beleive it is intestinal.

I have not heard of whip worm in the eyes however I am not an expert. Parasites in the eye are very dangerous though and should be given medical attention.

I would strongly suggest you be tested - please go see a specialist that can detect eye parasites. There are certain parasites that can cause harm to the eye.

      best of luck

      Hi Oceanne ~

That's just it, I do see a cornea specialist as I have Sjogrens and he is always telling me that the symptoms I'm feeling are from that disease.  How can I argue with someone of this degree.  I do swear to him that I pulled a worm from the eyelid and he said, still, that it was the Sjogrens.  He examined my eyes with dyes, etcc.  I'm just not convinced that he is understanding what I'm telling him.  I do know parasites have their way of hiding (in the body's fat) and can go undected until perhaps significant damage is done.  I think what I'll do is go to one of his associates (which is closer to my home anyway) and possibly have them check it out, hopefully from a non-bias mind.

Thank you for responding.  I will post if something is happening.

I fully understand. Drs in Europe and North America seem to not want to fully realise the link between disease and parasites!

I had he same issue I have severe colo rectal endometriosis so each time I asked drs to explore the parasite option they just laughed!

I have worked in amny countires eaten with the local population so it was not far fetched that I had parasites.

I finally ignored the drs and found the leading parasite dr in NY Dr Kevin Cahill- I went to see him within 24hrs he told me I had parasites.

I beleive you saw a worm and I would search for parasie specilsits in your area or tropical medecine drs - they know alot about parasites.

Dont give up if you pulled out a worm - you did not dream it you pulled out a worm- come on! Go get another dr that will find this worm!!!

I stood my gound and knew I had parasites!

      Let me know.

I am still trying to get rid of the whip worm and albenza does not seem to kill it. I will keep trying.

Thank you Oceanne.  You sound like you've had a hard time with your situation.  Severe colo rectal endometriosis sounds painful.  It's a shame they put you through just the tests alone to determine the two diagnosis then not to believe you regarding a parasite.  You of all should have been taken serious because of the work you do around the world.  I'm sorry that happened to you.

I just may write that doctor in NY and see if he can refer me to someone in my location.  I would be ever so grateful!

Thank you in what you said about believing in me that I did pull a worm from my eye.   It feels nice to finally hear that.  I know you don't know me but just from the way you write, I can tell you are intelligent.  I am so happy that you've been answering my posts and again, thank you for that.

I will let you know if I do hear back from Kevin Cahill in NY.  Wow! that would be just awesome if he could refer me to someone.  In ways, this fourm shows how small the world really is.

      Warm thoughts
