i went to the doctor for nausea loss of appetite stomach cramps/rib/ back pain. i haven’t been urinating frequently no burning no fever no smelly/cloudy urine yet my test came back positive for uti. can menstruation cause a false positive test? (this is updated now) so now i’ve been feeling bladder pressure & slight back pressure & frquent urination but i’ve had this feeling before along with rib pain & i was also on my cycle when the doctor told me i had a uti i did antibiotics for a week nothing happened symptoms continued for a few more weeks then i went  back to the doctor and they did a urinalysis/ultrasound & said i had no sign of infection & there was nothing else wrong with me. in order to avoid going back to the hospital for nothing (my cycle is over now) is there a way to distinguish interstitial cystitis from a uti/can menstruation produce wbc in urine.
