White bumps on the right of my urethra

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello,

I have these white bumps for as long as I can remember.

However i'm getting a physical check end of may. Nothing was found via blood (herpes/syphilis/HIV/chlamydia/...). All clean.

I know i have these on my penis shaft and on my foreskin and i mean ALOT.

Those were checked and were diagnosed as fordyce spots.

But can they appear next to the urethra as well? They're not very visible.

All I can say is that these look like in the picture.

No one has an idea? Normal skin variation? It doesn't itch, grow or spread...

If you do not think they may be Fordyce Spots, I would suggest you do some internet searches on: Pearly Penile Papules

They, also, are completely normal to have.  What I would suggest is that when you get your physical check in May, you point them out so that you can get another opinion, and hopefully be reassured as to what they are.

Thanks for your message Wee Dugie.

It's not PPP as they appear on the corona of the glans which I have as well.

Maybe genital warts but they would grow and spread, right?

End of may is still quite a time ugh...

I came across this article which mention fordyce spots on tip of glans as well.

Hi, I am just trying to get the chronology of what has been happening for you right.  The explanation in your original post states " nothing was found in the blood " - so did you have these tests done, purely, because you had concerns as to what the white bumps were?  As, you also say " I have these white bumps for as long as I can remember "  How long?  Why are you concerned about them now, if, as you say, for as long as you can remember?  What medical professionals have you had contact with?  Have you been to a sexual health specialist?  A urologist would be even better, if it were?

You were given a diagnosis of fordyce spots.  I take it that you are not convinced with this, and see that diagnosis purely as opinion?  Fundamentally, what you probably need is the expert opinion of a urologist, or certainly someone who has seen all the potential explanations, in terms of different conditions, and can reason that they are not the other possibilities of other conditions, because of the expertise they have tells then exactly what it is you have.  I hope that makes sense?  Are you also saying you cannot wait until the end of May until you get checked out then?

By looking things up on the internet, it is all too-easy to conclude the wrong thing and attribute your condition to something inappropriate!  As I say, what is needed is the right expertise to diagnose what you actually have ....
