White coated pill-like blobs in stool (with images)

Hi all, I'm new to this community and I have created this account for the sole purpose of asking this question.

For the last few weeks I have been taking a new medication (metformin) for my PCOS. I have been having diarrhoea often (nearly every morning) and on two occasions twice in the space of an hour.

The reason why I'm worried is because I have found an elongated, pill-like white blob, coated in a yellow jelly-like substance, with a light consistency (it floats in water) and it is squishy, and white inside.

Does anyone know what this may be? Images attached.
