White Coating Inside Vagina
Posted , 95 users are following.
Hello, I used to have recurrent yeast infections in the past but the last months everything was normal. Yesterday, checked my vagina and I noticed this white coating inside. I am pretty sure that my normal colour is pinkish and not that white. Does anyone know if this is something dangerous? Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone sorry for the late update but I totally forgot about this thread. I had multiple checks for UTI, yeast infections or other infections but everything was normal. The white coating is still there. The only period that disappears is during my period and few days after. Any update from your side??

Hi im korean nurse.
my english is short..
im still studying about hpv and hpv vaccines.
I think this is Hpv...
I really hope not.
Im here to find other reason why these things happen. but there isn't.
so terribly my guessing might be correct.
i guess this is hpv....
there are some ways to cure it.
using laser and things.
but in my study, omega-3 and ahcc pills will help.
and don't eat instunt food or junk food.
those white fking things mostly comes from sex, oral sex, and masterbation
(with hpv infected dick or hand or lips)
this is not a answer. just guess
Im still find why those come from and how to cure.
to prevent this.. or makes it better
stop oral sex and use condom
and sleep well for your immune system.
and eatting adlay can helps it cure.
but im not sure, you can get it in your country. it seems like rice. you can eat this making soup or tea..
remember omega3 and

Hi !
I have this currently and i've to the vulval skin specialist and the preliminary diagnosis is chronic/ recurrent yeast infection. Its mostly occurs when there is a chronic / prolonged / yeast infection that has not completely resolved from the initial infection and treatment which causes recurrence/ a deeper infection.
The doctor has me on 50mg of Difflucan (Fluconazole) per day for 4 weeks and he intends to review me then and if its effective to continue for 6 months to completely iradicate the residual yeast infection to avoid recurrence.
I was struggling to find any answers online and i initally had no symptoms which then progressed into symptom. I am feeling some relief now and hope my experience can help those that are experiencing similar.
I will keep everyone posted on my treatment.

Did it work? And before you saw the vulval skin specialist, did you ever try diflucan?
Would really appreciate your advice - I've been having yeast infections every month before my period after getting the first one in 2021

Did anyone figured that out? I'm expiriencing more or less the same white coating in the opening of my vagina. I was using antibiotics what caused me a yeast infection. I took medice for yeast infection for three weeks cause it wasnt going away. Now after a 5 weeks I don't have more iching but the white coating thing is still there. The doctors don't know what it is. I also have experienced my tongue white....

i got a piece of it removed and sent in for testing in a lab. it is called squamos papilloma. a benign tumour that just happens. I also got std tested- all negative. it is not correlated go hpv or cancer.

I have my post-partum appointment 02/08/2023. this has literally freaked me out and has me panicking and my husband trying to calm me down. from feeling like my vagina is dying to no blood flow to suffocation to cancer I'm balling out here. I have had a hard time finding this concern on Google and it lead me straight to cancer. ðŸ˜. I have calmed down learning of this site and the many others who have or is in the same concern as myself. I will update on what I will be told. thank you for being present and having this as a topic because I was loosing my cool!

My OBGyn Dr. advised me that I had a outbreak to a medication, soap or medicine I was using. I was cleaning where my soap irritated my area after a medication I was given managed to enter the area. This issue actually went away before my appointment. Prior to the white discoloration going away on its own I took a photo. I shown this to my Dr. and she said this is totally normal when your vaginal gets exposed to something your using that accidentally go in the area.
She told me there are no alarm bells and I am fine.

I've had this issue for a while now but thankfully found a solution. In my case, I found that the bleaching agents/formaldehyde ingredients within toilet paper was causing major irritation and possibly throwing off my pH. Anyway to make a long story short, I've switched to douching and in a matter of days the pale part started turning pink and it's not longer as bumpy and clustered as before.
This is very recent (!!) Outside of douching, I've yet to explore other toilet paper brands just yet.
But anyway all that aside, I've never been more relieved to finally have gotten rid of my issue. I'm hoping that by posting this, I'll be helping someone else out if its a toilet paper allergy issue on their end too.
