White dots on lips overnight!?

I've had chapped lips for the last 2-3 nights in a row but I woke up this morning to 4 white dots on my lower lip on the top that wont scratch away like normal peeling. Could this be a result of irritation or should I be worried about worse things rolleyes   Help!

    Looks like a cold sore from pic. Have you tried any creams on it??

    Have you done anything excessive recently exercise wise or drunk out of a bottle??

      No creams just chapstick so far. What creams would you recommend?

      Nothing excessive exersize wise, and am in college with a steady girlfriend so I dont expect it to be anything transmitted.

      Have you ever suffered with cold sores or has your other half??

      If it's a cold sore Zovirax has always helped me, I tended to get them a lot after playing football on a Sunday morning and a couple of days later they would appear mainly down to the sweat build up despite all attempts to stop it happening.

      Drinking out of beer or any bottles also seemed to make mine come up.
