White painless spot on my penis shaft? Please help, im 18.

I have a painless white spot that's almost like a square on my penis shaft, on the back, and it does not hurt. The color goes dark then pale, then continuing on with its regular skin tone. I never noticed it until now, its gotten super pale and visible, it never was like this. I'm 18 and I've never had sex. I masturbate regularly. Does someone have any information on what this is and what I can do about it? I did research as well, is it possibly vitiligo? My family has never had it and I do not have any white skin patches anywhere on my body. Please help me figure this out because I know there are lots of people with the same problem searching this forum and it would help them as well.

Hey David, that looks malignant, meaning there's nothing you should be worried about. If it is vitillgo it just means you can't change it is there any itchiness, fluid coming out of your penis and are you circumcised?

Nope, I'm overall a super healthy person, I clean when needed and always make sure nothing goes near it that's gonna infect me. Just a plain white bit of skin that has no pain. I'm not circumcised.

Awesome! You shouldn't need to pay any special attention to it because you aren't circumcised- only women really need to seeing as they can't clean properly and are 3x more prone to infections, stds and hiv. I have vitillgo on mine as well and no one in my family has it either. You just have cells that don't have melanocytes. The only special attention you might need to pay towards it is to keep it out of the sun. Since it doesn't have a protection against ultraviolet light it can burn easily. Also, don't wash your foreskin with soap, it ruins the diversity of bacteria that live there to help your body out. It also chaps your foreskin which can be painful. Any other questions?

Correct! Running water over it while gently running your fingers over the surface of your glans and inner foreskin should do fine, this part of the body is self cleaning so it generally doesn't need extra attention unless you do something out of the boundaries of what you should be doing like anal sex- that can give even men on antibiotics an infection
